I am founder of Precious Online, the first online magazine and network for women of colour to launch in the UK. www.preciousonline.co.uk.
Launching the magazine was a childhood ambition, when I was younger there weren't any magazines that featured girls that looked like me so I decided that when I 'grew up' I would launch my own.
The internet allowed me to follow my dream.

Precious now attracts over 80,000 unique visitors a month, holds networking events and conferences working with partners such as Pearson plc, The British Library and the London Chamber of Commerce.

In 2007 we launched The Precious Awards, which celebrate women of colour in business www.preciousawards.com.

I also do some writing and marketing for corporate clients focusing on a range of subjects including business and the arts.
Commissions welcome!

That would be great. Whenever your schedule permits would be fine. By the way, have you thought about taking Precious global? Ebony magazine and Essence magazine in the US applauding and heralding what you're doing. Anyway, we'll connect soon.

Hi Foluke,
Reading about your acomplishments and how your childhood dream has become reality is very inspiring. May be someday, you can inspire other young people ... letting them know that they're never too young to dream. I celebrate you. You are indeed a Role Model.
